Weinstein Hall, a two-phase, $9
million project that included the construction of a four-story
Collegiate Gothic academic building and the renovation of the adjoining
political science building to create a 52,000 square foot center for the
social sciences. Of particular note was the fact that Weinstein Hall was
the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified
building in Richmond and the second LEED certified higher education
building in the State of Virginia.
